Sarah offers all types of family portrait photography with a particular focus on Newborns which inevitably leads into baby, cake smash and family photo shoots.  Sarah is a Licentiate of The Society of Wedding & Portrait Photographers, she has Qualified Status with The Guild of Newborn Photographers and she is a Professional Member of The Baby and Newborn Photography Association.

Having two gorgeous children of her own, Sarah is very patient, child friendly and well trained in the art of negotiation and the challenges that photographing children can sometimes entail!!

Sarah believes that taking photographs and having your photograph taken should be creative, fun and relaxed. Sessions can be carried out in her studio using a variety of backdrops and props or, weather permitting, outdoors in the garden and the surrounding countryside using natural light. Her aim is to provide you with a selection of images that will capture your heart and provide a timeless memory of your loved ones.

Sarah takes part in ongoing training with leading UK & International Photographers to further her expertise and to ensure she can offer the best experience and images to her Clients.  She has taken part in training workshops with Gary Hill (UK); Cass Davies (UK); Sarah Wilkes (UK); Jade Gao (Australia); Elizabeth Griffiths (UK) and she is looking forward to taking part in training workshops with Gary Hill and Kelly Brown (Australia) in late Spring 2018.  In addition to this she takes part in many online training workshops and carries out her own research and studies on various photographic techniques and editing processes.  Image and product quality & customer service are top priority to Sarah.  Clients can expect to receive the best of both.

2017 was an exciting year with Portraits by Sarah moving into her new studio space.  It’s a fabulous space to work in and it’s proving very popular with Clients, especially the younger ones who love the extra running space!
